The Environmental Protection and Awareness division promotes the protection of our natural environment, the health and well-being of our citizens, increasing awareness in environmental issues. It also facilitates the participation of Non-Governmental Organisations and civil society.
Environmental Fund
We accumulate manage environment fund through our supporters., schedued to use for environment protection methods. These include assistance in the following areas:
- • schemes to prevent/reduce waste
- • waste recovery activities
- • enforcement of the provisions of any enactment relating to waste management, prevention of litter or protection of the environment
- • partnership projects, that involve local authorities, to improve the quality of the environment for particular local communities
- • promotion of awareness of the need to protect the environment, including national and regional campaigns
- • promotion /support of education and training to assist achievement of campaign objectives
- • resources (human or material) to enable education and training to be carried out.
TREE PLANTATION
Since the beginning, trees have furnished us with two of life’s essentials, food and oxygen. As we evolved, they provided additional necessities such as shelter, medicine, and tools. Today, their value continues to increase and more benefits of trees are being discovered as their role expands to satisfy the needs created by our modern lifestyles. Trees add value to our life through following grounds:

Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
We organize camps and awareness programs in order to educate people about importance and role of tress in our lives, how they affect our living. We organize Plant A Tree day for encouraging people to take out time for this noble cause.
WATER/WASTE MANAGEMENT
Environment Protection is a broad concept, not only saving and planting trees is necessary, we also have to curb our habits that are effecting the environment adversely. For that, we encourage awareness programs for educating people about do’s and don’ts for safeguarding our environment, like how to fully utilize water resources, how to dispose different types of wastes, etc.
